The owner of Buffalo Gal Vintage, Desiree Sheridan, recently moved to Buffalo from St. Petersburg Florida, where she ran a vintage shop for years. Now Desiree is adding her own impeccable vintage tastes to Froggy, and the end result is pretty darn awesome.Buffalo Gal Vintage specializes in the clothing end of the retro spectrum. Each of Desiree’s handpicked garments is a winner. The pieces are all in excellent condition, sitting vibrantly on the shelves just waiting for the right person to discover their allure. The racks are filled with brand names. The outfits come from an era when style was a personal taste, not the homogenized look that we see today.From 1960s pop floral dresses to an emerald green Mad Men evening coat to a 1940s sculpted faux fur pill box hat and matching muff, Buffalo Gal Vintage is loaded with incredible one-of-a-kind finds that won’t break the budget. While shopping for others, I came across a felt lined vintage Woolrich lumber jacket for $50 that I bought for myself. I also picked up a red retro sport coat for $12. This stuff is the real deal.
